Off-the-shelf marketing director

Some companies have evolved without a marketing director, and some are too small to meet the regular salary bill for board level marketing resource. Yet, in order to continue to grow, marketing leadership is vital, especially when times are tough. Research has shown that those who market hardest in a recession weather the financial storm far better than their peers, and usually manage to increase market share and position.

With my experience of integrated marketing, and the strategic advice I’ve been providing to my clients for more than a decade, I can take on that role for your company.

If you need to find your marketing direction, I can build your marketing strategy and plan for you. Your team can then take that on and drive it forward. If you feel it would be helpful, I can provide mentoring and advice to them, based on hourly or daily rates, on an ongoing basis. Or you can retain me for several days a month to act as your marketing director.

If you decide you need much more in the way of resource, I can help you identify a suitable agency partner, write the pitch brief and oversee the pitch process for you. If you prefer, I can handle the client / agency relationship on your behalf once they’re appointed, taking on all supervision and liaison.
