Kerris Macauley

Crisis management and PR

I’ve handled more crises than the last Government, from fairly major money issues to erroneous foreign objects appearing in product packaging, bogus healthcare goods, product recalls, contamination problems, child labour, overseas sourcing, factory and office closures, fires, foot and mouth disease, bomb scares – even a senior exec legging it with his secretary and the company’s slush fund.

News travels fast these days, and bad news practically breaks the sound barrier. But that’s part of the challenge. Perverse as it may sound, I do LOVE a crisis, whether it’s noon or 4am, global or local.

So, should it hit the fan, you can count on me and my cool head whatever the time.

By the way, most of the crises mentioned barely created a ripple in the seething media pond – I take pride in that.
